I. Make a confession of what you have done {vv 3-4} 
The Lord desires us to be truthful and honest {vs 6}

II. Ask God to have mercy upon you {vs 1} 

III. Ask God To make you clean {vv 2, 7}

IV. Ask God to do a work in your heart {vs 10}

V. Ask God to work on your attitude {vs 10}

VI. Ask God to return to you the joy of your salvation {vv 8, 12}

VII. Ask God to give you strength to not do it again {vs 12}

VIII. We'll win people to the Lord {vs 13}

IX. You can praise him the way you should {vs 15}
