SOLOMON, SHEBA and the SAVIOUR
2 Chronicles 9:1-12 * Matthew 12:42


Solomon is portrayed as the Saviour, his servants are portrayed as born-again Christians, and Sheba is portrayed as one who is lost 

I.  WHY SHEBA CAME -
    1.  She heard of Solomon's fame {vs 1} 
    2.  To test Solomon and to prove him {vs 1}
    3.  To have a heart to heart with Solomon {vs 1}


II.  WHAT SHEBA WAS IMPRESSED WITH - 
    1.  That Solomon had all of the answers {vs 2} 
    2.  That Solomon had wisdom {vs 3}
    3.  Solomon's house {vs 3}
    4.  Solomon's provisions {vs 4}
    5.  Solomon's people {vs 4} 
        A.  With their SERVICE
        B.  With their FAITHFULNESS
        C.  With their APPAREL
    6.  Solomon's ascent to the house of the Lord {vs 4}
    7.  That everything she had heard about Solomon was true {vv 5-6}
    8.  That Solomon's people were happy {vs 7}


III - WHAT SHEBA LEFT WITH -
    1.  She recognized the Lord God {vs 8}
    2.  She gave in appreciation {vs 9}
    3.  She left with all of her desires and all that she had given {vs 12}

JESUS CHRIST IS GREATER THAN SOLOMON {Matt 12:42}
