MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Jude 1:20-25


People Are Dying And Going To Hell . . .
Are You Trying To Make A Difference?
Are You Making A Difference In The Lives Of The Unconverted?


I. THE REASON WE NEED TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE 
1 - Difference In Places Eternal 

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (Matthew 7:13-14)

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:28-29)

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. (Daniel 12:2)

II. THE ROUTE WE TAKE WILL BE DIFFERENT 
1 - Difference In People & Procedures 

A - The Use Of Compassion 
-Some of the unconverted are so beaten down, struggling, blind & groping, hopeless that what they need is someone to come along and show them COMPASSION.

-They need Christ, they need His salvation, they need to repent, and embrace Christ, but they need someone who will help them to this point with COMPASSION

-{Luk 15:20} And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. 

-{Luk 10:33} But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, 

-{Mar 6:34} And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things. 

-{Mar 5:19} Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. 

-THE LIST GOES ON: blind men, lepers, the sick, families of the dead, the hungry, etc.

-Some people just need your COMPASSION! 

B - The Use Of Fear 
-Some of the unconverted are so haughty, high-minded, proud, unrepentant, and bold in their sin that compassion would be wasted on them, what they need is a large dose of FEAR! 

-They too need Christ, they too need his salvation, they too need to repent, and embrace Christ, but they need someone who will help them to this point with FEAR! 

-{Luk 12:5} But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him. 

-{Luk 23:40} But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
