I BOW MY KNEES
Ephesians 3:14-21


Satan would rather that you...

-Witness to people than pray
-Study the Bible than pray
-Be in fellowship with other believers than pray
-Hear preaching and teaching than pray


Without PRAYER there is no power for anything we do {John 15:5}


I - In prayer God is ACKNOWLEDGED {vv 14-15}
-Coming to Him acknowledges that we need Him

A - Acknowledge God the FATHER
-We recognize ourselves as sons of God in need of a Father
-Children are weak and need help

B - Acknowledge God the SON
-Outside of Jesus we have no right to approach God {John 14:6; 1 Tim 2:5}



II - In prayer God is ASKED {vv 16-19}
A - For inner spiritual strength
-Pray for matters of the heart more than physical matters

B - For the indwelling of Christ
-That we would be more Christ-like

C - For an immoveable love
-We need more love for one another

D - For an informed love of Christ
-To know how wonderful He is

E - For an infestation of God
-To be completely run over with Him



III - In prayer God is APPRECIATED {vv 20-21}

A - The ABILITY - He is able
B - The ABUNDANCE - He can do more than we can ever imagine
C - The ADORATION - From the church, From His people in prayer
