HOLY vs. UNCLEAN
Haggai 2:10-19

Christians must be careful in intimate relationships with those who are lost.
Your holiness (salvation) will not transfer to him or her,
but their uncleanness (sin) will transfer to you and drag you away from God.

Things that you do, hear, watch, etc can be labeled as HOLY, CLEAN, or UNCLEAN.
Many things are not HOLY, but are CLEAN.
You can view fishing or hunting as CLEAN, but not HOLY.
It s fine to go fishing, however if it takes away time from God, it could be viewed as UNCLEAN or UNHOLY.

I - THE DIFFERENCE between the holy and the unclean {vs 11; Lev 10:10; Ezek 22:26, 44:23}

II - THE DEFICIENCY of the holy {vs 12}
Holiness does NOT transfer itself {2 Cor 6:14-18}
Your salvation will not "rub off" on someone else

III - THE DEFILEMENT of the unclean {vs 13}
Uncleanness DOES transfer itself {Num 16:19-35}

IV - THE DIVINE exception to the rules
Our sin offering (Jesus) and HIS shed blood are the ONLY things that can transfer holiness! {Lev 6:24-30}
