FORGIVING, FASTING, and FORTUNES
Matthew 6:14-21


I - FORGIVENESS 
The 2 "Ifs" of forgiveness
A - If you forgive, you will be forgiven {vs 14, 18:21-22} 
It's a decision not a feeling
B - If you will not forgive, you will not be forgiven {vs 15, 18:23-35; Eph 4:32; Col 5:13}


II - FASTING {vv 16-18} 
Don't copy hypocrites who do religious things, such as fasting, to be noticed and praised of men


III - FORTUNES {vv 19-21, 19:21; Prov 11:4, 23:5; Eccl 5:10; Heb 10:34} 
There is no sin with planning for your future or having material possessions
Sin enters in when you accumulate, "lay up", material goods simply to have it.
There is also sin in loving your possessions more than God
