Nahum 1

I - God's RAGE & RESTRAINT 
· Angry (vs 6), Furious (vs 2), Fury (vs 6), Wrath (vs 2), Indignation (vs 6)
· "…God is ANGRY with the wicked every day." Ps. 7:11
· yet slow to anger (vs 3)


II - God's RETRIBUTION & REPRIEVE 
· Not acquit wicked (vs 3)
· "…by no means clearing the guilty…" Num. 14:18
· yet break yoke & burst bonds (vs 13)
· "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." Jn. 8:36 


III - A God of RUIN & REFUGE 
· Has his way (vv 3-6)
· "And he arose, and rebuked the wind …" Mk. 4:39
· yet a stronghold (vs 7)
· Psa. 18:2


IV - A God of REVENGE & RECONCILIATION 
· Vengeful on enemies (vv 2,8)
· "Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense …" Heb. 10:30 
· yet knoweth them that trust in him (vs 7)
· "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." Jn. 10:27
