CONFIDENCE IN GOD
1 Samuel 30:1-25


I. It comes when we recognize our helplessness apart from God 
-David had been brought to where there was nowhere that he could turn but God

II. It clutches hold of an all-sufficient help {2 Cor 1:3}

III. It commissions the use of appropriate means {Psa 118:6 * 121:1-2} 
-Sometimes when we are in trouble it causes us to do the wrong things in an attempt to fix the problem
-If you have confidence in God, you will trust in Him first before trying your own way

IV. It crowns with complete success 
-David defeated the Amalekites, recovered all that was lost, and came back with more than he had before
