Numbers 10:29-32


I. The Pilgrimage {10:29} 
Israelites were on a pilgrimage to the Promised Land {Ex. 3:17 * Num 13:27}
Christians are on a pilgrimage to Heaven {John 14:1-5 * Rev. 21:4, 11-27 * 22:1-5}

II. The Plea {10:29} 
Moses invited Hobab to come with them
Christians should be busy inviting everyone they can to Heaven

III. The Promise {10:29} 
The Lord spoke good of Israel and Moses said that they would be good for Hobab

IV. The Problem {10:30} 
Hobab would not come, but chose to go back to his own land
What is keeping you from being saved?

V. The Persuasion {10:31-32} 
Moses realized how Hobab could be of great service to them by guiding them through the wilderness
He informed Hobab that they would show them the same goodness that God shows to the Israelites
More Christians are needed to do the work of the Lord
