The job of the church is to build lives and families
Before you build or plant you must remove the mess
You can't build or plant something good on top of something bad


BEFORE YOU BUILD OR PLANT YOU MUST: {vs 10}

1 - ROOT OUT
2 - PULL DOWN
3 - DESTROY
4 - THROW DOWN


4 KEY AREAS IN A SPIRITUAL MESS:

1 - OUR NATION
2 - RELIGION/CHURCHES
3 - FAMILIES
4 - INDIVIDUALS

3 POINTS TO TEARING DOWN:

1 - It is a FEARFUL thing to do {vs 8} 
Preaching against wickedness, false religions, and troubled families will bring trouble

2 - The QUALIFICATIONS for this ministry are not from within one's self {vv 6-7} 
If God is in you and you have His Word, then you are qualified

3 - It has a PURPOSE {vs 10} 
So that you may build and plant
