Colossians 3:18-25


-Fathers can provoke their children to anger by....


1 - PARTIALITY {Gen 37:3-4; James 2:9} 
-Don't show favoritism toward one child over another


2 - PASSION {1 Sam 18:10-11, 20:31-34; James 1:19} 
-Fathers who have no control over their anger can cause anger in their children 


3 - PASSIVITY {1 Sam 3:13} 
-Fathers who never get angry or discipline their children provoke them to anger


4 - PRETENSE {Prov 20:7} 
-Fathers living a hypocrites life can lead to anger in children


5 - PROSPERITY {Prov 15:27; 1 Tim 6:9} 
-Fathers who love money and try to replace their time and love with material things provoke their children to anger


6 - PREOCCUPATION {1 Sam 3:13} 
-Fathers can be too busy to spend time with their children


7 - PERFECTIONISM {Eccl 9:10} 
-Fathers demand their children to be perfect instead of doing their best


8 - PESSIMISM {Phil 4:8} 
-Fathers who constantly grumble and complain every day of every year will provoke their children to anger
